“Really, Malfoy, the book clearly says that—”

“Granger, shut the fuck up or I swear to Salazar I’ll—”

"—aristocratic of you, swearing during a class—”

“—I’d rather be paired up with Crabbe and blown up due to his incompetence than you.”

Crabbe’s narrowed eyes shot out to Malfoy but the blonde paid no attention, struggling to cut the ingredients and measure them up correctly in order to get his prize. He needed the damn potion and was going to get it - with Granger’s help or not. She seemed to be set on nagging the shit out of him, constantly trying to point out his mistakes and whether or not the angle in which he was holding the knife was correct - it was beyond annoying.

"No, no, no! I told you that—”

"Granger, your hair seems to be getting bigger as time goes by. Not to mention how your constant nagging could kill anyone’s will to work and actually accomplish something. ”

She snapped out of her angry rant and narrowed her eyes at him, her body language clearly showing signs of discomfort.

“Shut up, stop trying to get a rise out of me, Malfoy, it’s childish and pathetic.”

Draco grinned maliciously and looked at it with a sadistic shine in his eyes, leaning over the cauldron and almost pressing his lips against her ear. “Why? Is it making you uncomfortable?”

He lingered there for a few more moments, noticing the change in her breathing and the flushing of his cheeks and before this would go any further he moved away, a slight furrow set between his eyebrows. What a nutter.
